GreenBeen Technology Pte. Ltd. (“GreenBeen”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data when you visit greenbeentech.com, contact us, or apply for a role with us. We handle personal data in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and other data protection laws that apply to us.
1. Personal data we collect
We only collect personal data that you choose to give us, or that is needed to operate this website:
- Contact enquiries: your name, email address, subject and message when you use our contact form or email us.
- Job applications: your name, email address, phone number, cover letter, résumé/CV (and any information it contains), and the role you are applying for.
- Technical data: when you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you request. This is used to deliver the site securely and reliably.
Please do not send us sensitive personal data (such as NRIC numbers, health information or financial details) through our website forms unless we specifically ask for it.
2. How we use your personal data
We use personal data to:
- respond to your enquiries and communicate with you about our services;
- assess your job application, contact you about it, and manage our recruitment process;
- operate, secure and improve our website, including preventing spam and abuse; and
- comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

By submitting a form on this website, you consent to us collecting, using and disclosing your personal data for the purposes described above. Some pages load fonts and other resources from third-party providers (for example, Google Fonts), which may receive your IP address as part of delivering that content. Our site links to other websites, including our product sites and LinkedIn; we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
5. Disclosure of personal data
We share personal data only where necessary, with:
- Service providers who host and operate our website and email on our behalf, including Microsoft Azure (website hosting and email delivery) and Google Workspace (business email);
- Our staff and affiliated companies who need the information to respond to you or assess your application; and
- Authorities or other parties where required or permitted by law.
Our service providers are contractually required to protect personal data and use it only to provide services to us.
6. Transfers outside Singapore
Our service providers may store or process personal data in data centres outside Singapore, including in the Asia Pacific region. Where personal data is transferred overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Enquiries are generally kept for up to two years. Unsuccessful job applications are generally kept for up to twelve months so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
8. Protection of personal data
We use reasonable security measures to protect personal data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls, and reputable cloud providers. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and find out how it has been used or disclosed;
- correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete; and
- withdraw your consent or delete your personal data.
We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably possible, and generally within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
